World Elder Abuse Community Awareness Event

The Health Checks - There's a Whole Lot of Living Left To Do Steering Committee is hosting a Community Awareness Event to provide information, resources and informal education to the public about Elder Abuse. The park is located by the local Pickle Ball Courts and 3 different older adult apartment complexes (2 Manitoba Housing and one SSGL). This park is a busy park in the summer and we are having local non-profits, City of Brandon representation and Prairie Mountain Health representation along with the City's Shelters in attendance to help provide local information. We are asking the press to attend the event to capture it on local radio and newspaper.
