- Contest opens April 1 and all entries must be received by midnight on June 30, 2016
- The contest is open to all Manitobans
- To enter the contest, post a video or picture on our social media accounts #respectchallengemb, email [email protected] or mail entries the World Elder Abuse Awareness Day Committee: A&O; Support Services for Seniors, 200-280 Smith Street, Winnipeg, MB
- Prize includes 1 iPads with an approximate value $500
- Prizes are offered "as is" with no written or implied warranty. No substitutions, alterations, cash equivalents or redemptions will be made
- This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws
- If, when attempting to contact a winner, an email returns undeliverable, the winner may forfeit his/her rights to the prize
- The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received
- Multiple entries will be accepted.
- The WEAAD committee is not responsible if an entry fails to upload to our social media accounts on Twitter and Instagram or emails that are not received. The committee is not responsible for any technical problems, malfunctions of any telephone lines, computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission. The committee is not responsible for any liability for damage to any computer system or other electronic device resulting from participation in or accessing/ downloading information in connection with the respectchallengemb
- Entries will be reviewed by the WEAAD Manitoba Committee and a winner will be selected by a majority vote by July 15, 2016. The winner will be notified via email or their social media account shortly thereafter
- The official Twitter, Facebook and Instagram rules apply to all entries. Neither Twitter, Facebook nor Instagram sponsor, endorse or administer any part of the respectchallengemb contest
- The WEAAD committee reserves the right to remove any material that is deemed objectionable
- Entrants may not post other people's private or confidential information (telephone number, street address, etc.) without their express authorization or permission
- The WEAAD committee reserves the right to cancel or prematurely end a contest should any computer virus, malfunction, fraud, tampering or other cause beyond their control corrupts the running of the contest
- Contest entry constitutes permission to use winning submissions on the WEAAD website without further compensation
- The WEAAD committee is not liable for any claims, damages, losses, injuries, or death including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part of the respectchallengemb contest, including the use or misuse of the prizes
- By sending in an entry to the respectchallengemb contest, all persons are deemed to have read and to have accepted these rules and regulations
